The 94th instalment of the South Oxfordshire event series.
When : Wednesday 17 December - 6pm until 8:30pm, or when the last cachers leave!
Where : The Red Lion, The Street, Brightwell cum Sotwell, OX10 0RT
The pub does serve food, but please let me know if you are going to be eating when you log a ‘will attend’, so I can advise the pub of the numbers. There is a Christmas menu and regular limited menu and therefore its really important to know in advance if you plan to eat at the event so please can you be clear in your log as there will be less flexiility than ususal. We may be asked to mix across dining tables and the adjacent high tables which tends to be for drinking only. All will be very much welcome but please be aware that the pub will want to be maximising their revenues at this busy time of year so may be more "directional". I will post menus to the cache page nearer the time for any Christmas Dinner pre-orders (thanks to the cacher who has already given their order!!).
Please could you avoid parking on The Street, the milk lorry passes by the pub and on occasions has not been able to pass safely by. Given how good the food is you don't want to have it go cold as you move your car!!!
What : Talking all things caching, drinking and being merry! Exchanging and moving of trackables. All welcome from newbies to the experienced cachers.
Why : Because it is fun with all the friendly cachers in the area! Look forward to rounding off another fantastic year of SOX events with lots of fun and laughter.
