Robb's Hill Conservation Area is part of a contiguous land protection block of approximately 375 acres with abutting conservation lands to the East in neighboring Shirley. The property is in close proximity to residential developments and provides recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, hunting, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, with a well-marked trail system. The geological character of Robb's Hill Conservation area is unique with several eskers and kettle holes, the evidence of a glacial past.
Take a hike on the Robbs Hill trail and immerse yourself in New England's natural charm. This trail meanders through a serene wooded environment and passes a small pond, providing a refreshing escape into nature. The scenery includes a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees, creating a picturesque backdrop for your walk.
I've placed ten caches here. All are the same containers (preform soda bottles with a blue cap), and should not be overly difficult to find. Seven of them are (mostly) along a 1 mile loop that will bring you back to parking. THIS CACHE is the only one not along a trail. It's near the parking location. please be careful. The other three are along another 1 mile 'loop' made up of a few different trails. Some trails aren't marked that well. Bring a digital map.
At the time this series was released, there is one other active geocache you could find along the second 'loop'.
This geocache was released for The BarterDash game leading up to the Johnny Appleseed GeoFest in October, 2025
