Welcome to the Aurora Challenge Trail!
#0: The Beginner's Challenge
Learning how to check & log a challenge cache!

This series of challenge caches was placed by volunteers who are also proud members of GeocacheAlaska!
The cache IS at the listed coordinates!
To qualify for this cache, you need to have found at least ONE (1) cache, anywhere, at any time. If you have found one cache (other than this one), you can log this as found. Please use the challenge checker below and post your results in your log.
**This cache will require stealth; please don't attempt if anyone is hanging out nearby. This is an easy to find location and you should be able to return another time if needed**
If you do not qualify yet, you can still sign the log, you just cannot list this as "found" until you qualify. (But you really shouldn't have to! Congrats on completing your first challenge cache!)
If this IS your first challenge, cache, all you need to do is click on this challenge checker below. It will open a new page. You should see your geocaching name entered. If it's not, enter it there and then hit "submit." It will check your stats and tell you if you qualify!
When you get the qualification message, it will offer you a copy-and-paste message that you can put in your log. Please paste that in your log when you list this as "found!"
If this is your first time checking out a challenge cache, let us know in the log as well! Then do some research and head down the challenge trail nearby to sign some more logs, and log finds for any others you qualify for. "49th State Caching" is one that many new cachers will also be able to qualify for soon, since it just requires 49 total finds in Alaska.
