After a stranger Geocache Monday with Cytoplasm7447 in the Point Mackenzie area, the prepped containers in my car were yearning for somewhere to dwell. Found the parking and area at the lake Lorraine launch to be quite welcoming, and saw a makeshift trail to the right, so decided to head towards and AKLoisandClark cache about half a mile out.
this was a mistake
At about 450 feet in the trail dissapeared, and it was some lakeside bushwhacking, when we realized we reached a kinda isthmus-style peninsula so we walked out there (gaining some new weight in the shoes) to check it out. Too pretty of a spot to have cacheless, so left this here for others to enjoy! I would not suggest to access both caches on this lake in the same venture, but it's what we did so cache on!
Cache can totally be accessed by boat, but not needed.
