Bagsværd Station ligger centralt i hjertet af Bagsværd og betjener Farumbanen (linje B). Den nuværende S-togsstation åbnede 25. september 1977, men områdets jernbanehistorie rækker meget længere tilbage. Den oprindelige station var en del af den historiske Slangerupbane, som forbandt Københavns Nørrebro med Farum fra 1906 og fortsatte helt til Slangerup indtil 1954.
Et stykke af denne historie står der stadig – den charmerende gamle stationsbygning fra 1906 ligger nogle hundrede meter mod nord, for enden af vejen "Til Jernbanen". Denne historiske bygning fungerer nu som pensionistklub og rummede engang posthuset indtil 1949. Stationen flyttede til sin nuværende placering præcis ti år før, den blev en del af S-tog netværket.
Den nuværende station har en indbydende stationsforplads med busterminal ved Bindeledet, samt bekvemme gangstier til Bagsværds centrale områder. Området blev smukt renoveret i slutningen af 1990'erne, hvor "Bagsværd Centrum" tilføjede moderne boliger og butikker, der gav nyt liv til bymidten.
Cachen er gemt ved en parkeringsplads på vejen med det fantastiske navn "Godtgemt". På trods af vejnavnet er denne cache dog forholdsvis nem at finde. God jagt! Husk noget at skrive med.
Bagsværd Station is centrally located in the heart of Bagsværd and serves the Farum line (Line B). The current S-train station opened on September 25, 1977, but the area's railway history stretches much further back. The original station was part of the historic Slangerup Railway, which connected Copenhagen's Nørrebro with Farum from 1906 and continued all the way to Slangerup until 1954.
A piece of this history still stands – the charming old station building from 1906 is located a few hundred meters to the north, at the end of the street "Til Jernbanen". This historic building now serves as a pensioners' club and once housed the post office until 1949. The station moved to its current location exactly ten years before it became part of the S-train network.
Today's station features an inviting station plaza with a bus terminal at Bindeledet, as well as convenient pedestrian paths to Bagsværd's central areas. The area was beautifully renovated in the late 1990s, when "Bagsværd Centrum" added modern apartments and shops, bringing new life to the town center.
The cache is hidden near a parking lot on a street with the fantastic name "Godtgemt" (Well Hidden). Despite the street name, this cache is relatively easy to find. Happy hunting! Dont forget a pen or a pencil.
