About GIFF
After taking 2024 off, the Geocaching International Film Festival is back! For the seventh year, we're excited to bring the film event back to Grand Rapids! The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) is a collection of user-submitted Geocaching short films compiled into one film. A GIFF event showcases the film reel and allows all cachers the unique opportunity to view the film. By attending an official GIFF event, you earn a special 2025 GIFF souvenir.
When & Where
This year, we will be at the Bauer Christian Reformer Church on Thursday, November 13th from 6p-8pm. The film will roll at 6:30pm. At the conclusion, we will have 30 minutes to reset and vacuum the room. If you are able to hang around, we'd appreciate help with tearing down equipment, stacking chairs, wiping down tables, etc.
With this new venue, we are permitted food and drinks. We are asking that everyone in attendance bring a light snack to share. Things like fruit/veggie trays, cookies, brownies, etc. would be great. Popcorn will be provided. No crockpots or dishes requiring utensils please.
