Ebeneezer Baptist Church
A church situated in Linwood Street in Failsworth, which was established in 1912 in the home of Isaac and Louisa Starling, with the church moving to Manor Hall in Newton Heath in 1914 due to the growth of it's congregation, and later in 1928 to it's present building on Linwood Street, where it has continued until this day. As the years moved on, a local businessman helped the church establish a Sunday School in 1938, which opened it's doors debt free, and has been key to the church thriving ever since, with a brass band forming in the 1950's that is still enjoyed by parishners today.
