The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) is from November 6-16, and GIFF is your chance to earn a special GIFF 2025 souvenir by watching a whole series of unique and fun geocaching movies (with subtitles).
This year is all about celebration. Not only are we celebrating 25 years of geocaching, but the amazing community that has built this game for a quarter century. That’s why this year’s GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!”
Our Mid North Coast community of cachers is a strong one who love to get together and encourage amazing caches, containers and newcomers.
More than 60 filmmakers from 21 countries submitted a film to the 11th biennial Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). 20 of them made the final cut for your watching pleasure.
So, mark the date in your Diary and log your 'Will Attend' to let us know you are coming.
We came together at a similar time 2 years ago, had lots of laughs and groans of sympathy as we watched and I've been itching to do it all again. I will supply the popcorn; both a sweet n salty version and of course the traditional buttery fun.
Our venue is a church hall who has offered the use of a room for a donation to further their community work rather than a fee. I will have a money box at the door for whatever donation you feel is appropriate for you to give. No pressure.
The Action Church helps those in who need it in Macksville with food hampers throughout the year and working the the community's youth.
There is limited parking at the door but loads of parking in the street at the beginnng of the short driveway.
