About SideTracked Caches
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website
About Glenorchy Station
There is no longer a public passenger train station in Glenorchy, as the last passenger service ended in 1978. The former station was demolished in 1980, and while a section of the former line is still present, it is not operational for public travel. However, the Tasmanian Transport Museum is located in Glenorchy and offers heritage steam and railcar rides on specific Sundays. You can see this Museum from GroundZero along with the train tracks and what is left of the old station.
The Cache
The cache is hidden along the old Tasmanian Government Railways (TGR) railway line between Hobart and Launceston
Please watch out for muggles and rehide the cache well when you replace it.
