One night, shortly after the announcement of GIFF 2025, NinJa Speechie couldn't sleep and her brain went off on a wild flight of fancy. She shared every thought with MichiEtal in a long message late that night. She expected her more rational friend to brush it off, but instead it triggered a 4-month-long episode of utter madness as two speech therapists with limited experience of filmmaking made a film. And somehow, it was selected as a finalist in the 2025 edition of the Geocaching International Film Festival. The GeoBeeps shenanigans have been shared in social media posts over the years, but this time, we've taken them to the world of film!

Geocaching is a fun outdoor adventuring hobby for the whole family, using GPS coordinates to seek hidden containers, called "geocaches." On a semi-regular basis, geocachers from around the world create short films themed around their favourite hobby as part of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF), and Groundspeak, the company responsible for overseeing geocaching, selects a set of the best short films as finalists for the annual GIFF event.

Come out and join us for a fun event to show the selected finalists for this year's Geocaching International Film Festival, a series of short movies that will showcase the best of what creative geocachers have produced for the love of this hobby!
