Geocache Description:

This is a multi cache dedicated to an American Flier.

Stage one is a plaque dedicated to a local WWII and Korean War fighter pilot. In order to log this cache, read the plaque, then proceed to the final stage..

The final stage log is located at the following coordinates, N 40° 10.X, W 122° 14.0Y

X is 29 times the number of German aircraft Ken Carlson shot down in the second world war, and

Y is the numeric designation of the aircraft Ken Carlson used to shoot down an enemy jet in the Korean War plus 4.

Bonus question: What word could identify both Ken’s aircraft and the nearby colorful statue?
