Welcome to the Geocaching International Film Festival 2025

Gidgetster and Sheeps8 invite you to the GIFF 2025 event.

This year’s GIFF theme is “TFTC - Thanks For The Community!” and the colour is silver, the traditional gift for a 25th anniversary.

These are the 20 finalists chosen for their creativity, production quality, content, and contribution to the global community of geocachers.

Come enjoy the company of your fellow cachers as we sit back and enjoy the finalist films and receive the 2025 GIFF souvenir.

The venue is the Glenfield Greyhounds Rugby League Club - 144 Sycamore Drive, Sunnynook, Auckland. Please note: the venue is only accessible by stairs and not wheelchair friendly.

There is plenty of parking in the carparks next to the club or near the community centre on Sunnynook Road.

The one hour film screening will start at 9.30am, with doors opening at 9am. Following the films, we will vote on which was our favourite winner overall.

Optional: Feel free to bring a plate to share. We will have some snacks and light refreshments available. Please put in your attendance post if you have dietary requirements.

We will have a little raffle prize up for grabs for those that attend on the day. We also have 3 GIFF patches for sale $5ea - first in first served.

We look forward to seeing as many of our Auckland caching community that can make it.
