The history:
The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) began as part of the 2013 Geocaching Block Party at Geocaching HQ in Seattle and was screened outdoors at a nearby park. This turned out to be quite the success so it was held again the following year. In 2015 the event was impacted by rain and it was decided that the festival would be opened up to geocachers worldwide to host their own events in their local communities. Now, hundreds of events are held every other year for this biannual festival and thousands of geocachers gather globally to watch the short film finalists together.
In 2025, GIFF events will be held from Nov 6-16 and attending this event will earn you a special GIFF souvenir for your profile!

Note - this event is not hosted or sponsored by the Toronto Public Library.
