Placed for BTSF 2025, the 20th Anniversary edition. This letterbox hybrid geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates. The posted coordinates are a good place to park though.
To find this letterbox hybrid geocache follow these instructions:
Head Southish to the Barre Bike Path (the trails are labeled in the premium trails map in the geocaching app).
Once on the Barre Bike Path (bike optional), follow it to the small untitled spur trail that joins the Beaver Run Trail. You don't have to go this way but it is the simplest. Just get to the Beaver Run Trail anyway you know how. There are options.
Take the Beaver Run Trail down the hill and across the bridge (we are not talking Brooklyn here) and back up the hill to where the trail intersects with the Abbott's Run Trail.
Once you are at the intersection of the Beaver Run Trail and Abbott's Run Trail, start looking. It would be better if you looked about 140 feet to the North Northeast but that is up to you. Look for a large tree with a couple of fallen trees near it. A couple of those fallen trees have arms sticking up like they are saying, "I have fallen and I can't get up". The goecache is close by one of the large older trees and one of the fallen trees asking for help. Just keep looking and it will be there, in the last place you look.
PS. When this geocache was initiated, a few swag stamps were also included for future finders. The actual stamp for this letterbox hybrid is in a separate container with stamp log, geocache log and the special hand carved stamp. Leave this stamp in the cache no matter how cool you think it is. Bring your own signing device and ink.
