Geocache Description:

This is the site of the last land battle of the Civil War, it happined long after the war's end. "What we have here is a failure of communication!"

Check out the Historical Markers on your way to Boca Chica on Highway 4.

The State of Texas has added audio description of the battle on 1610 AM, very good.

The cache is in a white plastic container within 200 feet of the Historical Marker.
