Tertúlia sobre a função dos antigos moleiros e como o Geocaching pode promover e preservar as tradições antigas.

Antigamente, a figura do moleiro era central para a sobrevivência das comunidades rurais em Portugal e na Europa. A sua arte de transformar o grão em farinha era indispensável para a produção do pão, um alimento básico na dieta de todas as classes sociais.

O ofício do moleiro

A moagem artesanal: A moagem era realizada em moinhos de pedra, movidos pela força da água ou do vento. O moleiro, com a sua perícia, controlava o processo e a qualidade da farinha. Em Portugal, a figura do moleiro tem uma longa história e relevância cultural, moldando as paisagens rurais com os seus moinhos.

O grão dos agricultores: 

O trabalho do moleiro começava com a receção do grão dos agricultores, que era moído e devolvido na forma de farinha. A produção de farinha era tão importante que a profissão de moleiro era uma das mais importantes nas comunidades medievais.
