the area used to be a recreational area created by the Corp of Engineers for the use of Military personel during WWII. and was later openned to the public after the close camp Claiborne. But with no money coming in to keep it up it eventually fell to Ruin.

Geocache Description:

This Cache has a .17 walk from parking there is a place to park even for a car. Walk is easy enough. If weather is wet you may want to wear boots.

This is our first try at hiding a cache so we would appreciate any feedback from you experienced cachers.
Cache is slighty obscured with leaves but should be easily seen when you find it's hiding place. Cache is a small round igloo cooler painted Brown.
