堀切駅は、東京都足立区千住曙町にある、東武鉄道伊勢崎線(東武スカイツリーライン)の駅です。1902年4月1日に開設された。
ドラマ『3年B組金八先生』の舞台である「桜中学校」の最寄り駅として描かれていた事で有名です。桜中学校のモデルになった学校やオープニングに登場する土手など、堀切駅周辺には多くのロケ地があります

It is famous for being depicted as the nearest station to “Sakura Junior High School,” the setting for the drama series “3-B Class Teacher Kinpachi.” Many filming locations are found around Horikiri Station, including the school that served as the model for Sakura Junior High School and the embankment appearing in the opening sequence.
