Lockville Canal Park features the ghosts of the Ohio Erie Canal; locks #11, #12, and #13. Walk along the towpath and wonder at these feats of engineering still standing 200 years later. The park stretches from Pickerington Rd all the way to Walnut St and you can walk around and through all 3 locks on the property.
The path is mostly smooth and mowed, but the sides of the canal are still steep in some places so depending on your mobility you may need to be a little careful. The ground may also be wet in spring or right after a rain. You're looking for a plastic bin around the middle lock: #12.
