I was driving past this location yesterday when I noticed that a pine plantation had been planted a few weeks back. I then thought of starting a photo record of the growth of these trees over the next few years (I hope the cache lasts that long). So to this end I hope that every cacher will place in their log a photo taken with the western of Rabbit Island in the centre of the photo. There is a good view of the area showing Tasman Bay in the distance.
Every couple of years I will make a GIF file of the photos showing the growth and place it on the cache page. This will be an interesting experiment. I don't have any inclination at this stage to supply the GIF file to any third party.
