Der Sportkomplex Sihlhölzli ist eine städtische Sportanlage, die eine Vielzahl von Sport- und Freizeitaktivitäten bietet. Er lädt Menschen jeden Alters dazu ein, aktiv zu werden und sich fit zu halten. Der Komplex verfügt über einen großen Fußballplatz, eine Leichtathletikbahn und mehrere Tennisplätze. Außerdem gibt es eine 400-Meter-Laufbahn, die ideal für Läufer und Sprinter ist. Die Leichtathletikanlage entspricht den Standards von World Athletics und verfügt über eine Laufbahn vom Typ B mit sechs Bahnen. Die Anlage wurde 2005 komplett renoviert.
Wichtiger Hinweis: Wenn die Ampel an der Sportanlage rot leuchtet, ist die Nutzung ausschließlich Sportvereinen vorbehalten. In diesem Fall ist die Anlage für die Öffentlichkeit nicht zugänglich.
Der Komplex wurde 1930/31 erbaut und umfasst zwei denkmalgeschützte Gebäude, die von der Baufirma Heinrich Hatt-Haller errichtet wurden: die Turnhalle und den Musikpavillon. Die Sporthalle ist ein neoklassizistisches, achsensymmetrisches Gebäude. Die muschelförmige Betonkonstruktion des Musikpavillons wurde 2023/24 zu einer Street-Workout-Anlage mit Umkleideräumen umgebaut. Die beiden Gebäude stehen unter Denkmalschutz.

The Sihlhölzli sports complex is a municipal sports facility that offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities. It invites people of all ages to get active and keep fit. The complex has a large football pitch, an athletics track and several tennis courts. There is also a 400-metre running track, which is ideal for runners and sprinters. The athletics facility complies with World Athletics standards and has a type B running track with six lanes. The facility was completely renovated in 2005.
Important information: If the lights at the sports facility are red, use is reserved exclusively for sports clubs. In this case, the facility is not accessible to the public.
The complex was built in 1930/31 and features two listed buildings constructed by the Heinrich Hatt-Haller construction company: the gymnasium and the music pavilion. The gymnasium is a neoclassical, axially symmetrical building. The shell-shaped concrete structure of the music pavilion was converted in 2023/24 into a street workout facility with changing rooms. The two buildings are classified as historical monuments.
