National Rocky and Bullwinkle Day is celebrated on November 19th. This date commemorates the anniversary of the show The Advenures of Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, airing from November 19, 1959, to June 27, 1964.. Who can forget the adventures of the two title characters, Rocket J Squirrel and Bullwinkle J Moose. The two foreign-like spies Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, both working for the Fearless Leader. Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties(a parody of old-time melodrama), Peabodys Improbable History (a dog named Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman traveling through time), and Fractured Fairy Tales (classic fairy tales narrated in comic fashion by Edward Everett Horton).
Join us at McDonalds, 2750 W 104th Ave, Federal Heights, CO, from 9AM to 10AM, Wednesday, November 19th for coffee, tea, breakfast, laughter, and geocaching camaraderie. Small TBs for discovery or moving on are always welcome. McDonalds sells food and beverages for your consumption, but purchase is not required to attend. Come on out, we love to see new cachers and seasoned cachers. All are welcome.
