Given the nearby statue, apropriately placed together with my older son during a time when our family was going thru a major turmoil and managing themes of fatherhood, grief, loss, connection and friendship.
I find this statue to be full of emotion, symbolizing relationships and their complexitieis in our lives and a reminder to pay attention and care about the single most important thing in our lives - our family. Go home, slow it down for a few minutes, sit with your loved ones and give them a big hug.
