This is a field puzzle that can be solved by visiting Astoria's Nordic Heritage
Park just off the Riverwalk in downtown Astoria. The park is open 24 hours
every day.
The puzzle is intended to be run on a smartphone and uses the CellStar
application, authored by computer
science professor
lesdubois and written specifically for geocaching puzzles. It can be
started from the link included below and is sort of a cross between an Adventure
Lab and a Letterbox.
The app will ask you to answer questions, all of which can be
answered within the Nordic Park.
When you have completed all the questions, you will be given a solution phrase
which you can pass automatically to the Checker. Simply
click "OK" and paste the phrase in the solution box. To paste, hold your
finger on the solution box or tap it twice and select "Paste". The Checker
should provide the coordinates of the geocache. You can also click this
Checker link to see how many of your friends have beaten you to the solve!
Start at the posted coordinates. Click the link to the app and begin your tour!
Please let me know if you encounter any problems or if any of the question sites
may have changed. Enjoy the puzzle and the cache!

First time using the CellStar app? These pointers might help:
Your answers are saved automatically for each question. If you start a
puzzle and don't have time to finish it, you can resume it later - be sure to
remember your keyword!
To answer a question, tap in the answer box, enter
your answer and tap 'Submit'. If you answer incorrectly, you can try
again. Tap the 'X' in the answer box to clear your incorrect answer.
Some of the puzzles have questions that can be skipped if you are unable to
answer. This is indicated at the end of questions that can be skipped.
Entering 'Skip' for such a question allows you to continue. But...you are
limited to the number of skips you can use, so make sure you can't answer first!
If you skip a question and can later answer it, just enter the answer, and you
can then skip a different question if necessary.
New feature! Once
you have answered question(s), you can move backward and forward through them.
Swipe left-to-right to reverse or right-to-left to move forward. You can
also click the arrow symbols in the top-right corner to navigate answered questions. You can't
advance past an unanswered question.
When you have answered all the
questions, you will be provided with a solution phrase. Click 'OK' and the
app will copy the phrase for you and move you to the Checker for the puzzle.
Paste the phrase, click 'Certify' and you should receive the coordinates of the
cache! To paste on a smartphone, tap the answer box twice or press and
hold your finger in the box.
