An Event to Celebrate the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) 2025
This month the Woodbridge Group is going to the movies instead of having a Meet and Greet.
This event has been approved by Groundspeak and all attendees will receive the GIFF Souvenir.
The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) began as part of the 2013 Geocaching Block Party at Geocaching HQ in Seattle. Screened in a nearby park, the first GIFF Event was a hit with attendees. It has gone on to be a celebrated event in the Geocaching community ever since. From finding new favorite places, people, and puzzles, geocaching is full of moments that should be captured on film and shared with the global geocaching community. The Geocaching International Film Festival is a place for geocachers to showcase their talents and put their creativity to the test.
More than 60 filmmakers from 21 countries submitted a film to the 11th biennial Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). From comedy to adventure, film noir to animation, filmmakers showed their appreciation for their local and global geoaching communities. We get a chance to see the best of the best.
Come join us at Potomac Library for a screening of this year's geocaching film finalists. The film reel will be played for all attendees and it anticipated to last approximately an hour. Come watch for hidden tracking codes, shared adventures, and good clean family fun.
Place: Potomac Community Room
