The Rio Grande Valley Geocachers and TaxProRGV invite you to our 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival Watch Party at the home of TaxProRGV in McAllen, TX. -- Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Description:

This year's GIFF is all about celebration. Not only are we celebrating 25 years of geocaching, but we are also celebrating the amazing community that has built this game for a quarter century. That's why this year’s GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!” and the color is silver, the traditional gift for a 25th anniversary.

1:00-1:30pm: Socalize, trade trackables

1:30-2:30pm: Watch film reel 

2:30-3:00pm: Raffle, voting, and cake 

Where:

Extra things to keep in mind:

• If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at the event, please make sure you log it out so it doesn't remain in the event list.
• Bring something geocaching related (value < $10) for a raffle. Only those who bring an item will receive a raffle ticket.
• Cake will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own popcorn / snacks / drinks to consume while watching the film.

GIFF 2025 Global Vote for People’s Choice Film

At the end of the film, there is a screen with a QR code and a link to vote for the GIFF People's Choice Award. 

One vote per Geocaching.com player account.

 Voting opens Wednesday, November 5,

and closes Tuesday, November 18, 6pm EST
