The Georgia Geocachers Association is heading down to beautiful Providence Canyon! The state park is looking forward to welcoming geocachers from all around!
Providence Canyon has us covered with extra tables and chairs. There will be a presentation from the naturalist and the park manager about this very interesting state park.
There will also be several NEW CACHES placed at the state park that will publish on November 15!
There is scheduled to be an "Astronomy night" on the rim of the canyon in the evening in the state park. Feel free to stick around for some stargazing and bring a telescope!
The Friends of Providence Canyon will be selling hot dog lunches and snacks throughout the day and evening. The meal is optional, but cash is preferred if buying food from the Friends of Providence Canyon.
The state park is allowing free tent camping for the GGA, for anyone interested.
Please be sure to log your Will Attends and if you are bringing guests so we can get an accurate count.
NOTE: There is a $5 fee for entry into Providence Canyon State Park, or free if you have an annual state park pass.
