Wildwood II Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

RVnuts: We agree that this cache needs to be archived. Time got away from us. Heard the saying that "Life happens"? We will be moving from this area and will look into asking someone else to take care of our other caches.

We knew Wildwood would make a terrific geocaching area when we first saw it -- hope someone carries on!

Geocache Description:

We thought Wildwood deserved a second cache. We designed this to take you on a tour of this wooded undeveloped area. Mowed paths are fairly wide in most places, occasional fallen trees but still an easy walk. If you are quiet, you may see some wildlife. The second entrance has a small parking area.

This is a multi-leg cache. Starting Point coordinates are provided above. Search the starting point coordinates area for a new set of coordinates. When you find the new coordinates, enter them into your GPS receiver as the GOTO for the next set of coordinates. You will have to enter coordinates three times - the third clue will take you to the cache. Cache is standard ammo box. Because of the heavy tree cover, your readings might be somewhat skewed. We have taken an average of readings for each clue. It might take some time to visually find the clues -- this is why we have made it a higher difficulty level.

The last part might involve a small bit of bushwhacking in summer. Look out for poison ivy in warm weather. The clues will not be farther than 2 feet off the path; the actual cache a little deeper.
