Welcome to the Split Apple Rock GeoArt.
There are 109 caches made up of a mixture of wherigos, challenges and mysteries. Most have been designed to highlight the Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough region.
Most of these caches are on back country roads, please be considerate of locals and daytime visits only please. Some roads are narrow but there is parking available for a least one vehicle at a time. All are suitable for low 2-wheel drive vehicles.
The Wherigo caches in this geoart are made up of 3 separate cartridges each highlights one of the 3 regions that make up the Top of the South; Marlborough, Nelson and Tasman.
The cache is NOT as the posted coordinates. To solve it, you will need to answer a question in the SAR-Marlborough Wherigo Cartridge. This cartridge contains questions for all 12 Marlborough Wherigos, you only need to download the cartridge once
Please note that the cartridges have been tested on Wherigo for iPhone and Geooh Go, C:Geo and WhereYouGo for Android. I’m unable to test on other platforms so can’t guarantee it will work on those.
