About SideTracked Caches
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website
Bellshill station, managed by ScotRail, is a historic station on the Argyle Line and Shotts Line that opened in 1879. It is located on Main Street and offers frequent services to Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverly, and Lanark. Today's station has a staffed ticket office, ticket machines, waiting rooms, and bicycle parking, though it is not fully accessible for wheelchairs. A second, now-closed, station for Bellshill existed to the northwest and closed to passengers in 1951.
