Pingshi Street Traditional Cache

Pingshi Street starts from Jianye Road in the northeast and ends at Shengzhou Road in the southwest, with a length of 580 meters. In ancient times it was a hub of leather workshops and fur vendors. It was called Pishi (fur market) Street in the late Yuan Dynasty, and later the name was erroneously passed on as Pingshi Street. In the early Ming Dynasty, a section of it was also called Pizuofang (leather workshops). It was a bustling street in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

评事街，东北起建邺路，西南止升州路，长 580 米。古为皮革作坊和皮货摊贩市场集中地，元末称皮市街，后讹音评事街，明初其一段亦称皮作坊。明清时，为繁华闹市。
