Parque Aventura da Lipor


Um novo tipo de cache chegou a Portugal! Vem fazer história connosco!
 

O antigo Aterro Sanitário de Ermesinde / Baguim do Monte, com cerca de 19 hectares, que recebeu, desde os anos 70, grande parte do lixo produzido em diversos municípios do Porto, deu lugar ao Parque Aventura. Antes era uma lixeira, hoje é um jardim. O antigo aterro sanitário da Lipor foi selado, transformou-se num parque aventura em 2009 e ganhou um trilho ecológico em 2017. Diariamente, entre as 08:00h e as 20:00h, todos podem usufruir deste espaço para circulação e manutenção física. Ao percorrer o trilho, podemos conhecer a biodiversidade do Rio Tinto, ver uma instalação do artista Bordalo II e apreciar diversas estruturas de engenharia natural, utilizadas para a requalificação de linhas de água.
 

 

As atividades de Geocaching ao longo do fim-de-semana de 25 e 26 de Julho de 2026 contarão com a colaboração da Lipor, que apoia esta iniciativa, e decorrerão por todo o recinto. 

O CacheInPorto apresenta, pela primeira vez em 25 anos de Geocaching em Portugal, um novo tipo de cache e um novo ícone para colecionadores: o GPS Adventures Maze (GCBGGGG). Uma estreia histórica que não vais querer perder!

Estarão disponíveis pontos de água potável, mesas de piquenique, casas de banho e zonas de alimentação.

Lipor Adventure Park


A new type of cache has arrived in Portugal! Come make history with us!

The former landfill of Ermesinde / Baguim do Monte, covering around 19 hectares and used since the 1970s to receive waste from several municipalities in Porto, has been transformed into an Adventure Park. What was once a landfill is now a garden. The old Lipor landfill was sealed and turned into an adventure park in 2009, gaining an ecological trail in 2017. Open daily from 08:00 to 20:00, everyone can enjoy this space for walking and physical activity. Along the trail, you can discover the biodiversity of the Rio Tinto, see an installation by artist Bordalo II, and appreciate various natural engineering structures used to restore waterways.

 

Geocaching activities throughout the weekend of July 25th and 26th, 2026 will be supported by Lipor and will take place across the entire venue.

CacheInPorto presents, for the first time in 25 years of Geocaching in Portugal, a new type of cache and a new icon for collectors: the GPS Adventures Maze (GCBGGGG). A historic premiere you won’t want to miss!
