O antigo Aterro Sanitário de Ermesinde / Baguim do Monte, com cerca de 19 hectares, que recebeu, desde os anos 70, grande parte do lixo produzido em diversos municípios do Porto, deu lugar ao Parque Aventura. Antes era uma lixeira, hoje é um jardim. O antigo aterro sanitário da Lipor foi selado, transformou-se num parque aventura em 2009 e ganhou um trilho ecológico em 2017. Diariamente, entre as 08:00h e as 20:00h, todos podem usufruir deste espaço para circulação e manutenção física. Ao percorrer o trilho, podemos conhecer a biodiversidade do Rio Tinto, ver uma instalação do artista Bordalo II e apreciar diversas estruturas de engenharia natural, utilizadas para a requalificação de linhas de água.

As atividades de Geocaching ao longo do fim-de-semana de 25 e 26 de Julho de 2026 contarão com a colaboração da Lipor, que apoia esta iniciativa, e decorrerão por todo o recinto. 

O evento ocorrerá no sábado e no domingo, das 09:30h até às 18:00h.

A participação no evento não tem qualquer custo monetário mas há um desafio simbólico: cada visitante deve trazer 1kg de resíduos recicláveis (Papel e Cartão, Embalagens de Plástico e Metal ou de Vidro). A entrega é feita logo na entrada.

Em todo o perímetro da Lipor, Parque Aventura e Trilho Ecológico, é expressamente proibida a entrada a animais domésticos, veículos não autorizados, fazer campismo, entrada e consumo de bebidas alcoólicas, fumar e foguear. Estarão disponíveis pontos de água potável, mesas de piquenique, casas de banho e zonas de alimentação.

The former Ermesinde / Baguim do Monte Sanitary Landfill, covering around 19 hectares, which since the 1970s received much of the waste produced in several municipalities of Porto, gave way to the Adventure Park. It used to be a dump; today it is a garden. The former Lipor landfill was sealed, transformed into an adventure park in 2009 and received an ecological trail in 2017. Daily, between 08:00 and 20:00, everyone can enjoy this space for circulation and physical exercise. Along the trail, we can discover the biodiversity of the Rio Tinto river, see an installation by the artist Bordalo II, and appreciate various natural engineering structures used for the restoration of water lines.

The Geocaching activities throughout the weekend of July 25th and 26th, 2026, will count on the collaboration of Lipor, which supports this initiative, and will take place throughout the entire area. 

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Participation in the event has no monetary cost, but there is a symbolic challenge: each visitor must bring 1kg of recyclable waste (Paper and Cardboard, Plastic and Metal Packaging, or Glass). Delivery is made at the entrance.

Throughout the Lipor perimeter, Adventure Park, and Ecological Trail, the entry of pets, unauthorized vehicles, camping, entry and consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking, and lighting fires is strictly prohibited. Drinking water points, picnic tables, restrooms, and food areas will be available.
