Baseball was a big deal when I was a kid. All the neighborhood kids played. It was our life. My mom and several other moms even let us skip school a few days a year to take us to Big League day games. Every one of us brought our glove with the grand idea that a foul ball would make it's way up to our nosebleed seats and we would make a highlight reel catch.
