Come and celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the first event cache in Cornwall.
On the15th December 2002 (A Sunday) an intrepid group of cachers got together and held the first event in Cornwall (GCA136) and only the eighth event in the UK. Organised by Nawtcher with the help of Crazy Eddie, it attracted cachers from across the UK. It had four attended/found logs plus a further 5 write notes indicate they also attended. A further six said they will attend, but not sure if the did. Only one is currently a Premium member.
Events in those days were a lot different to today.
This one seems to be a get together at 10am before completing a multi cache (GCB4D5). This multi features 10 stages and was estimated to take a couple of hours. Rated D1 / T1.5!!
A further trad (GCB4D6) D1.5 /T 2, was placed near a local pub and was full of Christmas presents. Logs mention eating, so I’m guessing they all met in this pub afterwards.

The event will be held outside, come rain or shine. Please bring appropriate clothing. There are two picnic tables available, but if raining, the seats will be wet.
