It is possible to park along the roadside in Caythorpe, and then take a wander along the public footpath alongside a stream towards Hoveringham Mill, which is approximately 1 mile away, continuing along public footpaths towards Hoveringham village. It is also possible to park close to ‘Ted’s Wander No.5’ as a start point, or to grab some of the caches in this trail. An alternative is to park on the main road outside the cricket club and The Reindeer public house in Hoveringham. This footpath is not suitable for cycling, and the trail is suitable as a walk only.
Ted is my son's dog, a loveable cockapoo who lives in Claypole, he enjoys walking and is an expert in hiding geocaches. If you see him out and about, please do say 'hi', as he is very friendly. He already has trails in Claypole and Long Bennington!
