"Rock on" Bury

What is it?

Bury St Edmunds, commonly referred to locally as Bury, is market town in the county of Suffolk. The town is best known for the ruins of Bury St Edmunds Abbey and St Edmundsbury Cathedral. Today's event takes place in the grounds of the old Abbey and concentrates on EarthCaches, which can be a marmite type of cache. Several new EarthCaches will be published for the Event and at our base at the given coordinates we will provide some help on coming up with the answers.

Arrive at any time during the event and, if the sun is shining, you may want to bring a picnic. The town has plenty of eating establishments and places to buy food.

Not interested in EarthCaches? Bury is still a great place to visit and there are several caches including a Virtual based at the Abbey ruins.

When is it?

The Event will be on Thursday 6th August from 11:00 to 14:00

Where is it?

On the Green by the Abbey.
