Das Meckern ist des Deutschen Lust,
ob Regen fällt, die Bahn mal bummelt.
Zu kalt, zu heiß, es bringt Verdruss –
gemeckert wird, bis jeder grummelt.

Mal laut, mal leise, stets mit Schwung,
das Meckern hält uns alle jung.
Ob Mücken, Muggel oder Moos –
der Frust sitzt tief, der Ton wird groß.

Doch dieser Cache sagt: Schluss mit Groll!
Wer hier nur nörgelt, ist ein Troll.
lass Dampf ab – aber doch mit Stil.
Und  bitte leise – ganz subtil:

Gib einen Meckerzettel weiter,
an Miesepeter, Nörgler, Streiter.
An Nervensägen deiner Wahl,
mit einem Lächeln, nicht mit Qual.

Denn wer mit Witz verhöhnt das Wetter,
der macht die Welt ein Stückchen netter.
Und wenn der Ärger menschlich ist –
gib dem den Zettel, der es nicht ist.

Complaining is a German trait –
be it rain or travel’s fate.
Too cold, too hot, too much to bear –
we grumble loud, not even fair.

Be it softly or with might,
a good complaint just feels so right.
About mosquitoes, muggles, moss –
the tone gets sharp, the mood gets cross.

But this cache says: Enough with spite!
If all you do is moan – not right.
Let off some steam, but do it with grace,
and keep it subtle, in this place.

Pass on a simple Complaint note,
to grumps and grouches who emote.
To nags and grumbling of your choosing,
with just a smile – and not accusing.

For those who mock the rain with cheer
make life more pleasant, far and near.
And if your anger’s not from skies –
give the note to one who cries.
