River Rauza
LV

Rauza – a river with a story
The Rauza flows through the Smiltene region — once a tributary of the Palsa River, it now joins the Vecpalsa to form one of the left tributaries of the Gauja. Its length is 56 kilometers, with a 144-meter drop, and it begins from Lake Lizdole.
This spot is special — you’ll find a lovely swing here, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view of the river. Locals love to come here at Easter, when the air is filled with the scent of spring and cheerful laughter.
The cache is not located right at the swings.
