I recently discovered Peppi's Playground while searching for a nearby cache. This park and small forest is named after Peppi Braxton, who used to attend the adjacent school before being killed in a bike-car accident.
Let's continue to honor Peppi's legacy by keeping the park's forest strong. We will be planting a variety of trees and shrubs in partnership with the GSP, who host lots of work parties all around the city.
It is highly recommended to take the bus to this event due to a shortage of nearby parking. The park only accomodates a few cars in its parking lot, and street parking may be hard to find around here. Route 27 from Downtown Seattle stops in close proximity to the event location (see additional waypoints) and runs every 30 minutes.
