While this year marks the 250th anniversary of our country, this territory was mostly undisturbed by civilization.  To celebrate, we bring you two of our favorite "Discovery" friends as they explore the desert looking for treasure, not unlike what we do today.  We have created a route for you that we hope will be both interesting and entertaining, and will lead you to your own treasure, but before you start your journey, come meet some new friends and plan your route. We do encourage people to team up and ride together.   Share the day with others.  We will have some snacks and drinks available for you to start your day.

 

After the event, you can pick up a "Discover Yuma Passport #12" for a fun day exploring interesting spots in the Yuma area. We have both physical geocaches for you to find as well as some Adventure Lab gadgets for you to solve.   Unlike previous years, not all locations will be available 24/7 so plan your route accordingly.  After you complete your passport, return to this location to receive your Yuma Discovery Series #12 geocoin. There is no prize for first-to-finish so take your time and pick up a few of the many other caches in the area. There is a snack bar with date shakes nearby if you are hungry. We will be accepting passports untill 4PM the day of the event and untill 2PM during the Yuma Mega event on Sunday.
 

Friday,the evening before the event, we will post the PASSPORT Coordinates to all those that posted a "WILL ATTEND" so you can lay out your plan of attack.
