Pojďme v rámci megaeventového víkendu udělat také
něco pro přírodu po oslavě 25 let Geocachingu v ČR
Jak jste se již mohli dočíst v listingu sobotního megaeventu, kromě oslavy významného výročí českého geocachingu nás unikátní areál historické čistírny odpadních vod spolu se svým okolím inspiroval k tématu elementů, které bychom chtěli symbolicky propojit s atmosférou místa i s duchem geocachingu. Čtyři základní živly jsou jasné: země, voda, vzduch a oheň. Tvoří společně svět, v němž se pohybujeme při hledání keší. A ten pátý? Tím je komunita! To jsme my, kačeři, kteří všechny předešlé elementy propojují. A jelikož český geocaching oslavuje 25 let, stalo se číslo 5 i klíčem k našemu programu a též i každý z eventů v průběhu víkendu bude zaměřen na jeden z pěti elementů.
Nedělní dopoledne jsme se rozhodli propojit se zemí, tedy elementem, bez kterého by nebylo prostoru pro nekonečně rozmanitou přírodu kolem nás. Na rozdíl od předešlých živlů je země téměř všemi směry kam se podíváme (tedy pokud nejsme na lodi uprostřed oceánu) a každý den po ní chodíme a hledáme skryté poklady. A protože geocaching není jen o sbírání krabiček, ale je také o pomoci přírodě a životnímu prostředí v rámci CITO eventů, věnujte spolu s námi čas před nedělním obědem zlepšením stavu země podél břehu Vltavy a jí přiléhajících parků.
CITO event a program
KDY: neděle 7. června 2026 od 10:00 hod. do 12:00 hod.
KDE: uklidíme nejen břehy Vltavy od odpadků v úseku trasy podél řeky od Vystaviště až po park U Vody (viz mapa níže)
KUDY TAM: úvodní souřadnice jsou nejblíže ze stanice metra Holešovice, pak tramvaje v okolí
CO SI VZÍT S SEBOU: vezměte si s sebou rukavice, pytle a odvoz odpadu zajistíme společně s Úřad městské části Praha 7
KDE CO NAJDETE: pytle budou k dispozici na úvodních souřadnicích, místo pro složení nasbíraného odpadu bude ještě upřesněno
LAB keše: v rámci CITO eventu je plánována série LAB kesí se zaměřením na enviromentální tématiku

Let's do something for nature after the mega-event
celebrating 25 years of Geocaching in Czechia
As you may have already read in the listing for Saturday's mega event, in addition to celebrating the significant anniversary of Czech geocaching, the unique grounds of the historic wastewater treatment plant and its surroundings inspired us to choose a theme based on the elements, which we would like to symbolically connect with the atmosphere of the place and the spirit of geocaching. The four basic elements are clear: earth, water, air, and fire. Together, they form the world in which we move in search of caches. And the fifth? That's the community! That's us, the cachers, who connect all the previous elements. And since Czech geocaching is celebrating its 25th anniversary, the number 5 has become the key to our program, and each of the events over the weekend will focus on one of the five elements.
On Sunday morning, we decided to connect with the earth, the element without which there would be no space for the infinitely diverse nature around us. Unlike the previous elements, the earth is almost everywhere we look (unless we are on a boat in the middle of the ocean), and every day we walk on it and search for hidden treasures. And because geocaching is not just about collecting boxes, but also about helping nature and the environment through CITO events, join us before Sunday lunch to improve the condition of the land along the banks of the Vltava River and the adjacent parks.
Important information
WHEN: Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: we will clean up trash not only from the banks of the Vltava River along the section of the route from Vystaviště to U Vody Park (see map below).
HOW TO GET THERE: the starting coordinates are closest to the Holešovice metro station, then trams in the area
WHAT TO BRING: bring gloves and bags, and we will arrange for waste disposal together with the Prague 7 City District Office
WHERE TO FIND IT: bags will be available at the starting coordinates, the location for depositing the collected waste will be specified later
LAB caches: as part of the CITO event, a series of LAB caches focusing on environmental topics is planned
