DSS #2: Simon’s Town Long Beach – Redux!
This single-stage multi-cache is hidden near the access to this fine and very popular long sandy beach. It replaces a previous cache at this location, DSS#2: Simon's Town - Long Beach, which was archived on 5/11/25 due to the change of the environment at GZ which made it no longer suitable as a hide location.

Although ‘paid’ parking is available on the beach, space may be limited at busy times and ample free parking is available opposite the beach access road on Main Road.
To Find the Cache:
Go to the information board at the published coordinates and find the following:
- The board is secured to its posts by A bolts
- The information is derived from a City of Cape Town Coastal By-Law of 202B
- Looking carefully at the illustration/map, the number of people – the number of creatures + the number of cars depicted = C
- Of the 8 white circles guiding activities/behaviour at the beach, the number showing prohibited activities = D
- The last digit of the Sea Rescue phone number given = E
- The number of bullet points relating to Baboons = F
