There used to be a series around here called the Whitley Wander (since archived) so there is now space for a new series - the Whitley Waddle.
Please read the description carefully.....the caches can of course be done in any order but the numbering sort of makes sense and any route guidance assumes that you are doing them in order.
The route can be muddy and wet at times and some paths are not exactly well marked or maintained.
The caches are a good mix of the really easy, slightly tricker and the downright sadistic. Don't forget to consider the cache name, description, attributes, DT rating, as well as the hint (if any) and be prepared to think outside the box......
I would recommend solving the puzzles before you travel out as signal was patchy for me in a couple of places, they are fairly simple puzzles, although 20 might need a bit more thought....
You may wish to consider taking some, if not all, of the following in your kit:-
- Toothbrush
- Pen
- Wellies
- Half a brick
- Tweezers
- UV light
- Pack of custard creams
- Magnetic telescopic pole
- 9V battery
- A teaspoon
You have been warned!
So as for this cache - a nice gentle warm up stretch.....although no sooner have you started and you are leaving Whitley to enter the socialist people's republic of Halton - maybe the trail should be renamed?
