[Firstly- welcome to my first cache!]
So either I’m about to out myself here, or we’ve all had that moment when caching where we’ve looked at something questionable/gross and gone “wait…do I have to touch that?” or “do I have to go through THERE?”
In most caches the answer is NO. You do NOT have to touch that [really still bird, bug nest, litter, etc*]. However, this is not most caches. Yes, you might just have to touch that [insert cache container appearance here]. BYOP.
If in doubt, the hint will explain what to look out for (and therefore what you can safely touch), or wear gloves/use a tissue to avoid contact.

*These are all examples used to help illustrate my point in that paragraph. Please DO NOT put yourself or others in potential danger by approaching wildlife or their nesting areas, they won’t be the cache.
