All good Christmas traditions are passed from one generation to the next so, with Edna hanging up her wreath with a final event in 2024, it's time to take up the mantle for hanging this year's stockings.
A feature of the annual caching calendar since 2014Β (with a hiatus for the 2020 pandemic), we're once again inviting people to join us for a festive gathering at Barnwood Park on Christmas morning.Β There's no expectation for anyone to stay the entire duration of the event and, if all you want to do is sign the log to prove attendence and leave, that is entirely fine - we know that people have other places to be on Christmas Day!

For those who are interested in such things, the event should qualify for the "Farewell 2025" souvenir and will give another "Celebrating GIFF" ticket, if you're hunting Geocaching Treasures.
For anyone who's not been before or not familiar with Barnwood Park, the Park has a lot of large open spaces and is generally pretty kid and dog friendly (there is a stream that needs a little caution, though).Β There is some parking along Church Lane and near St Lawrence Church.
