The Manitoba Memorial Trail pays tribute
to Manitoba geocachers who have passed away.
Flotsom and Jetsom
(active 2007 - 2020)
Flotsom and Jetsom signed up for Geocaching on September 14, 2007 and found their first geocache (GCXFBW) on August 18, 2007 They found 1418 geocaches and hid another 50, accumulating a total of 40 favourite points. The last cache they found was GC65FX on June 15, 2020.
As long-time members of the Assiniboine Park Zoo, Flotsom and Jetsom were instrumental in the creation of the annual MBGA Zoo events, setting up all the caches and working with Zoo staff to make if a fun and educational event for all attendees; geocachers and muggles alike. They would be proud to know that their efforts have lead us to having a beloved and well-attended event each year.
They collected 31 souvenirs during their caching adventures.
Flotsom and Jetsom are missed by the Manitoba geocaching community.
