The Manitoba Memorial Trail pays tribute
to Manitoba geocachers who have passed away.
Dorchester
(active 2005 - 2025)
Dorchester created his geocaching account in July 2005 but only found his first geocache (GC1A9QM) in May 2009, which is a cache that really spoke to Dorchester's artistic nature. We suspect he followed his life-long pal Mustash around on the caching trails but only decided to start logging almost four years later!
Officially, Dorchester found 1074 geocaches and did not hide any. Dorchester has cached in 5 Canadian provinces and 4 US states. The last cache he found was an event (GCB76FG) at Assiniboine Park on May 28 2025.
Dorchester is missed by the Manitoba geocaching community.
Please feel free to include your memories about this cacher in your log entry.
The Manitoba Memorial Trail would not be possible without the generous contributions of margaretgary, dani_carriere, Lord Yorlik, and ernie&bert&elmo&grover. Thank you!
