The Manitoba Memorial Trail pays tribute
to Manitoba geocachers who have passed away.
Thirdbase
(active 2006 - 2016)
Thirdbase found his first geocache (GCTE40) on a -45C day in February 2005. Overall, they found 2288 geocaches and hid another 22 caches, including one in northern Manitoba at beautiful Paint Lake Provincial Park. Their caches accumulated a total of 24 favourite points. The last cache they found was GCWHM3 on August 3 2016 on Hecla Island with their grandkids.
Thirdbase cached in 9 Canadian provinces and 6 US states.
They collected 34 souvenirs during their caching adventures.
Thirdbase is missed by the Manitoba geocaching community.
