Forgotten
Looking at the highway formation here, it is obvious that there once was a historical marker at this location.
Sadly, it is gone and whatever history story it told has now been forgotten.
As I look out over this pasture and rolling hills, I envision Indians hunting, a stagecoach rolling past, and maybe even Bass Reeves (AKA the Lone Ranger) passing through to water his horse on his way home to Denison.
