The beach itself is mostly unsuitable for buggies, young children and anyone with mobility difficulties (though there is a more suitable track just above the beach).
Go to the end of Moor Road, turn to the left and park. Please park considerately as other motorists may be using the beach.
A limited number of litter pickers are available, if you have your own please bring it with you, and bags etc will be provided on the day. Please bring gloves if you have them.
Our thanks to Mourne Heritage Trust for organising the collection of the rubbish.
The weather can't be guaranteed, but let's hope there can be a bit of craic after the clean-up, and a group photo.
